How do these hood crest attach to the hood. O know I will need shorter moulding. Picks of a hood with the crest on and missing showing attachment holes.

Carefully bend those tabs up on the back, and poke them through the holes in the hood. Then flatten back down. This assumes you hood has the two slotted holes.

Hopefully they are not fatigued so bad that they break.

as stated above there were slotted holes for mounting the crest.
this is a later car but shows the slots (can I assume their position didn't change?)

this is how it should look when fitted - note the trim strip has a 'cut out' so it fits nicely over the crest mounting

Would someone share how the seals install. Are they just putty, or do they get poked through with the bend over pins?

And who sells the seals?
EDIT: I see WW has them!

Thanks!

Would also use some butyl rubber (A clay like sealant) between the base and hood to seal the water from those mounting holes.
