Hi everyone,

I'm trying to sort thru the wiring for a 62' Karmann Ghia I bought a few weeks ago. There are 2 wires, 1 black, 1 white, that connect to the top of the transmission that are not connected to anything at the other end. Also, at the other end the black wire splits off and then the white wire is split into 2 white wires. Can anyone help me figure out what they go to? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I suspect they could be the reverse/backup light wires. That's the only wire connecting to the transmission on my Ghia.

Reverse lights are correct.
One side runs from coil+(15) with an 8amp fuse in line.
The other side runs to the reverse light circuit.
