request for a new forum topic

[79 EV VW]

I am a new user to this forum. I want to start a thread on converting a 1979 VW bus to EV. I am not new at EV conversion, I have successfully converted a old 1972 CJ5 Jeep to EV. The progress on that conversion can be seen on a jeep forum: https://www.jeepforum.com/threads/cj5-plug-in-ev.4487521/#replies

I would like to document my progress on converting this 1979 bus in a similar manner. There would be posts every week for about a year.

My request is to start a new topic in the forum list: "EV convertion" in the hopes of spurring interest. Converting a VW to EV does not fit well into any on any of the model forums such as baywindow bus, or beetle 58-67 or split window bus or super beetle because the conversion is applicale to all beetles and a majority of busses. If I use the Bay Window Bus forum the other forum users may not be aware of an EV conversion thread.

Can an "EV Convertion" topic be added to the forum list? Or alternately, is there an easy way to post simultaneously on several forums?

No, we wouldn't add a whole new section for your single new Forum topic

This does sound like a cool topic but it's best to post it in the Bay Window Forum since it's a Bay Window.

Sorry, there's no way to cross-post it in multiple Forums where updates would appear in multiple places.
