That’s interesting about the boot. What’s the reason to have the joint at 10-11 or 1-2?

After slowing down long enough to think about the “why” the straight up 12 position is the compression point for the boot. I’d think you don’t want it compressing at the point where all the screws are located. I’ll give rotating them a shot.
