Here are a few pics of my SWR/BG standard. This is my new project bus and quite rare with the factory sunroof and walk through. It is a bummer the nose was hit, but I am going to try to pop the dents out as best as I can for now and keep the original paint. It is a really early 65 built in Sept 1964.

That nose looks like it will pop right out! Especially if you use the old football trick.
Hope you start a thread on this one! _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

Here’s my 1965 Microbus, I bought it a couple years ago from the famous Ninja Ranch in South Texas. It made all the way to Mexico. I’m not restoring it just making it run and drive. I’ve spent lot of time working on it by myself so I hope she can stay for a long time with me.

I tracked down an original paint SWR apron and decklid to go on my 65 Standard sunroof bus. They look so much better than the ones that came with this bus which were the wrong color. The decklid needs straightening and one hinge area needs to be replaced. _________________ September 1964 Standard Sunroof walk through SWR/BG original paint. |

This 1963 SWR/BG Standard Combi needs lots of work and definitely some paint too but for this small price it might be an interesting project for someone with the right skills.
It sit on its wheels, it has all it's glass, all it's doors, a front bumper, M-code plate, VW nose emblem, chrome hub caps, the front seats, a rear bench, some interior/trim pieces and it comes with lots of smaller parts;
