If I'm using the stock beetle irs and engine cradle with a t-1 transaxle. What length axles shafts would I need? I have stock ×1 trailing arms and bus cv joints.

What length are on there currently? If you're unsure you could take one off and measure it.

Some older posts suggest that the axle length is T-1 stock with stock T-1 CV's.

I'm using stock T-1 boxed arms with T-2 CV's & T-181 axles.

The best way to find correct axle length, is to align CV flanges across from each other and take a measurement between center of flanges and subtract 1/4-1/2in for axle length you need.

Apologies When I said I'm using a t-1 trans. I currently have a bus trans in it and I'm swaping for a t-1 for a more highway friendly gear ratio. I believe it has 15¹/4 inch axles in it. I did not find any info in length difference between t-1 and t-2 axle combonations.

You have a bus tranny and your putting in a type 1????? I would rethink this! Busses can go highway speeds! I only use bus transmissions in my builds. Try a taller tire!
