My wife playing some kind of interesting game on her parents' driveway, with her mom's '75 (I think?) bus behind her. My mother-in-law remembered it was an automatic, and they took the middle seat out for more room and drove all over Mass with it. My father-in-law told me that their Vega had died just before the Blizzard of '78 (legendary storm here in Mass) and as he was walking back from the bus stop (Elisa's mom had the only functioning car at that point) he walked by a used car lot that was digging out. He "saw a giant snow mound with an orange bottom" and told the salesman "if that son of a bitch starts, I'll buy it" (my FIL was a character, I miss him a lot)

Anyway, it started, and he bought it...( it lasted a few years till the transmission let go)
