Hi all,
I would appreciate some help with a paint code for my steering wheel. It looks kind of ivory but hard to tell. It's from a march 56 low light ghia. The car colour is antelope
Thank you for your help
Dave

I'm nearly certain that early lowlight Ghias used the same steering wheel as on the same year Deluxe Beetles. For 1956 model year, J.T. Garwood's "Car of the Century" lists the Beetle steering wheel color as L278 grey beige.

I have heard of a couple of answers, and I still haven't had any confirmation for me to say 100%. The light beige L275 and grey beige L278. The majority of 55-57 bugs I have looked at seem to be L275.

Hi Gel,
I've decided that I'm going with L275 light beige as the original interior has beige & brown material colours.

Yeah, me too. I have seen a lot of OG paint small spline wheels in the Grey Beige, which might point to more of a '57+ option.
