How would you expect that to pull the carb’s evenly and stay balanced throughout the throttle travel?

I’m working on this now. I had paid a mechanic to do the carb install. I’ll review the installation instructions and report back.

This is spot on. I had hired a mechanic to do this part and they didn’t do a good job so I’m running through the installation manual to fix each thing. I’ll get the extension arms straight. I noticed a spring screw missing in the back of the passenger carburetor. Anyone know where I can buy one of those?

I’ve been talking to Redline tech support and he agrees with what you said above. Got to get everything straight and level on both sides.

Wow you need to get your money back from that clown

The arms aren’t even on the same level, and the push rods should be vertical not all akimbo Brick wall
It normally pulls from the bottom side of the linkage arm too
How would he expect that so stay synchronized throughout the rotation of the linkage

So I have some thoughts.

First it is May 15. Hurricane season starts really soon. I've seen results from 5' - 14' of water that washed over Navarre Beach, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Destin islands during hurricanes. You don't have much time to get this bus running to get out of there if we have storms like prior ones this year. I lost count of all the direct hit hurricanes that my parents went thru living in Fort Walton Beach for 30+ years. add in ones that went either side of them and it is even more. Look what happened with Mexico Beach and Tyndall Air Force base near there. As my sister in law said, one day there is a small storm in the gulf and three days later it hits shore as a Cat 5 monster leaving almost nothing in its wake. I was in FWB a week after Opal. What a mess.

Second, I think at this point I would contact Colin (Amskeptic) and see if he is still in Miami and planning a drive north. Some years he overwinters in Pensacola. While doing it yourself is best, and less expensive, and there is no guarantee Colin can fix it, I would hate to see that bus get hit with salt water flooding come this summer if a hurricane or series hits the Panhandle. We'd love to live in the Panhandle near FWB ourselves but at age 74, I can't imagine myself commuting out of there when I am 80 to get away from a storm. We have no children and my brother and family left Pensacola almost 20 years ago now. Good luck
