this just in , i dont really know any details . i wasent there but its all over the local news here in So Cal . a car show at featherly park ends with 3 people shot n wounded ?
there was a 4 day VW spring picnic n camp out there this weekend that ends today . im looking for more details .
it wasent at the park and i dont know if there is any connection .
its like no place is safe anymore !!!

Saw a video of a T boned blue single cab by a gray Tacoma. WTF? Is nowhere safe anymore? Take your bs elsewhere and settle it there. Hope the families and the camp goers are ok.

I left before the shooting, so I can only pass along what I know (or have been told). So take this with a grain of salt. Unfortunately, the news has stopped covering this (that says something about how many shootings happen around here...), but more and better info may come later from event organizers.
Note that RVs are not allowed within the VW event. The presence (in video and pics) of nearby large RVs suggest that this happened outside the VW Spring Picnic event. I think the blue single cab driver just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The story (which may change, beware!) is that the truck driver had an argument, returned armed and tried to hit a bicyclist (who may be the other person in the argument), and in the process collided with the VW. The truck driver then shot at both the cyclist and the VW driver, then shot himself.
The news media likes our charming cars and people, so they mentioned the Spring Picnic, but it seems to be unrelated, other than through this chance encounter outside the VW event.
I do not know, nor would I publish, the name of the injured VW driver.
I hope this helps clear it up a little bit.

It was also discussed on the CABE bicycle website..
I believe this was one of the people shot or hit by the truck(Unsure of injury); Jamie Benn / Higgens / 50split714 on ebay
It was said that he made it through his surgery OK.. WTF is he world coming to..Probably over a parking spot or some dumb BS..

| Was trying to figure out who was the shooter or who got hurt? I didnt get to go to this event. Curious to see if its someone i dealt with or seen at the local shows. Found a Facebook story of shooters back turned in handcuffs and blurred out image of head |
