Yikes! When is your trash pick up day? The common ones have desirable vacuum canisters if they test good. I do find that I can unload 009’s even non German ones for a few Pennie’s. I didnt enjoy working on 009’s.
The fiber washers go betweenthe stationary part of the points and the spring loaded portion. Those hats, rubber? I do not recognize. _________________ Roads Scholar

New question: I have this NOS distributor drive gear still covered in cosmoline from VW with the original washers in the kit.
Is it uncommon or one of billions? |

Common design, but keep in mind it is still German quality.
Less common would be these:

Golly Gee Willikers I had no idea. So there are cases out there that are entirely different just for that aspect. I wonder how many there were made? Did they go back to "no shoulder" later again?
In Beetle numbers it crosses to January 1961 for chassis and engine. For bus it is only engine January 1961.
Anyone know more about this? |
