Got the from beam replacement from Puebla factory of Mexico
also checked suspension arms
and saw there is an offset, however is the same on both sides

Does it say on the box where it was made? I have mine made by a company that bought the old TRW tooling.
Those are nice beams you have. I have a handful of them (VW Mexico) but someone had drilled and slotted them for adjusters. I have to undo that so I can use them.

Not really, but looks exactly as the 40 years old one I am replacing (same markings everything)
After many hours of preparation, needed to fabricate myself a missing ring tool on the lathe, I finally was able to remove the lower ball bearings (that and 10 tons of pressing)

some more randomupdates, unfortunately I lost some photos from my phone...
front beam is back in, and mounted all the front
on the meantime I received a refubrished thermostat which allows me to finish the engine
then jumped to the back of the car, mounted the gerbox and replaced wheel cover seals
and started installing new cunifer brake lines

I wish
but no, just things go slow, but hey I am progressing
after phospho acid, zinc primer and DP40
and figuring out how a will make a reinforcement part at the side as the one that was there...

some xmas time updates 
After having the top rocker sides done, started with setting up the floor pans (left side)
but I still found some rust that was not under my radar
used the seat to check alignement of the seat rails, the piramid suppor will be welded with the pan in place
so I position the pan to help aligning the bottom side of the rockers previoust to weld.
I am quite happy with the quality of these WW pans, far better to ones I used on My Thing in the past.....[/img]

some new parts get in
mocking the side runners to make sure all gets properly aligned before welding
I discovered the use of clekos from the samba, how could I live without 'em?

It's like sliced bread. I got close to buying some for one project but just used rivets instead to hold everything in place. For a large project I would definitely buy them.
