I bought a set of stock style/pattern rubber floor mats from Wolfsburg West several years ago - IIRC, sometime around 2017 or 2018 time frame. Anyway, their quality and fit was good, and so far they have held up fine for me.
Here’s some pics I took while fabbing overlying carpet pieces out of door mats — you can see at least some of the WW rubber mats underneath and on the tunnel. Note that there’s original thickness tarboard (and/or tarboard replacement material) on the floors and tunnels underneath — you need to have that there for a proper fit of the rubber floor mats.

Is that photo showing the rip the as delivered condition? I just received a set of these from jbugs 2 weeks ago and they were rolled up tightly, and when unrolled they were undamaged and quite nice. |

excellent work Baldes
those were CIP1 mats, not jbugs- they crumbled while waiting for installation and because i ordered them ahead of time, by the time discovered they had turned to shit they were 'not under warranty' effin CIP1 can stick it _________________ '70 Beetle- Quincy

I also bought a set years at least 2 decades ago, from supplier I cannot recall (likely WW, JBugs, or CB), and they've been fine. I remember that back then the supply was inconsistent, so I waited for these to get back into stock. At least then, mine were made in Mexico or Brazil if I remember correctly. _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. My experiences with JBugs' and Cip1's merchandise and return policies have often been “subpar” (to say the least), so I rarely ever deal with them anymore.
Wolfsburg West has proved to be a better bet for me in most instances. And on the few occasions where they did send me a poor quality or defective part, they've always quickly refunded my money.
Just stating my own personal experiences with those vendors -- YMMV... _________________ 1971 Standard Beetle — fairly stock / driver
