I got a pair of 34 ICTs a while back but they didn't come with any fitting instructions, and I wanted to confirm the fuel line routing.

Is this right?

Is the fuel hose okay resting on the tinware?

I would try to secure them. Over time them rubbing on the tins due to vibration could wear a hole in the line

This looks like a manifold vacuum line, not fuel.

It's a balance tube and should be run to the other manifold, not connected into the fuel system.

Yep, that's the balance tube, but it is very snug against the HT lead - are there different (right angled?) leads that are more suitable?

Yeah this is what I was thinking - what's the best way to go about that?

One way is to protect it. take a piece of your extra fuel line, split it length wise, wrap it around the existing line so it rubs against the tin. secure that to the line with a couple of zip ties.

It is easier to find an elbow for the balance hose. Or even block it off and drill and tap somewhere more sensible for the fitting ( like pointing straight out to the side on the manifold.)

As the hose will also get in the way of a spark plug socket spanner. Which cannot have a 90 degree bend ..
