Hey Chris … On the subject of hand held air hammers.
Not to long ago I wanted to do some shaping on the spare tire well of a Ghia.
I modified my old door skinner that I no longer use to create the profile that I needed. It worked really well
….
One of my colleagues has a Ghia in his shop he is redoing so I shared the photos with him. Just a few days later he reached out to me because he come across something that reminded him of what I had done. Apparently a company has made something specifically for metal shaping/ flow forming that’s fits a conventional air hammer. I didn’t hesitate to buy them rite away.
Here is pick of the door skinner I modified and the job it was able to do with ease
The last photo is the new ones I bought. I already used one and they are great.
Anyone following along that loves metal shaping tools would most likely dig them. They have three different profiles.

Nice work! Looks like it is still curved after all that welding!
What are you doing down low at the fender stud? It almost looks like the steel is molded into the stud. _________________ Jimbo
