I had a 1968 VW bus back in the early 2000 that I was restoring. Fast forward to today and I was cleaning out my garage and came across these gaskets, which look to maybe be door/window gaskets/seals from my restoration. They are still new in plastic. I’ve searched to no avail trying to see if these things go to that specific VW model bus. I’d like to sell them but unsure what vehicle they might go to.
Thank in advance for helping solve the mystery!

Weelcome!
Those look like the bumper trim inserts used on European Clipper models. 68-70, the 71/72 had a different profile. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

‘68-‘71 is a bit different.
I have it on my double cab. And it does not look like that. _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.
I recycle old cars and parts, other than when I rot, that's as Green as I am going to get.
Thanks to my Tesla driving neighbors, I feel more relaxed driving my SUBURBAN and old VW's.
Everything sounds good on paper! |

Nope. The deluxe trim rubber insert on 68-70 uses the same one as the early split bus deluxe trim. It's not a molded to shape insert, you buy in sections and cut to size and shape the ends by hand. _________________ 1968 Deluxe "Clipper L" Type 2
