Friday the 20th is the last day to order a shirt with or without a registration.
You can still register after the 20th but no shirt will be available.
We're looking forward to seeing your Thing in Athens.

The time is getting near! There seems to be a problem with the hotel reservations link. It says there are no rooms for the 12th, but as of last Friday we still had 15 rooms available. I have them looking into the problem. You can call the hotel directly. 706-549-7020

The link wasn't working because our special price ended two weeks from the event, but they extended it for us. The link should work now.

There is a pavilion where we will be set up. The show is in the hotel parking lot which circles the pavilion. The parking is outside of the rooms.

QR code did not work today. We called the hotel and were told the rate was no longer available. Call me a non-planning wanker.
I went ahead and paid rego today too. We will see if the car makes it.
Edit: so we went back and it showed Friday available. Tried to change the booking and were told it wasn't.
Then my wonderful wife went back to the hotel site and they offered 30% if you use their site to book so we dod that, cancelled the call in reservation and got a decent (not event) rate.
See you guys Friday - with or without a car.

Please keep a lookout for the Thing that I sold years ago. I would love to find out if it is still alive and well.
Major identifiers would be the 80's-ish VW Golf seats, 3 point seat belts and the hole for a 102" whip antenna just forward of the left side air scoop. (naturally, all of these could have been changed / removed since then.
