I don't know what happened to Al. I have bought things from him with no problems before. Purchased a melling pump in May and it has never arrived. 7 days after purchase he emailed me and said he was in the hospital. So I gave him time. I looked today and he logged in today. This is very disappointing.

Well looks like he's up to it again, he took my $1500 deposit. Said it would take a few weeks on transmission, so we're now on week 10 and nothing.... Although I've talked to him one or twice always saying he's sorry for the delay, he now doesn't answer his phone, return calls, answer emails or texts...Nothing

It's entirely too bad actually, you think you trust a guy.
