I agree I sometimes see stuff I know is trash listed for sale.
I think sometimes the seller doesn't know it's worn out though.
On the other hand, sometimes people need weird small parts and they are probably glad someone listed it instead of throwing it away, even if it might look like junk in the photos.
I know I've bought a few things that like that in the past as long as they weren't super rusty or totally shot

Should this qualify for the abortions thread? Hard to decipher the actual year. 65 & up popouts, 4-lug, 68 & up hood, inside of doors look 67-ish, grafted oval window with W decklid....Sheesh!
