I've posted this one before. It's about an hour away and I always check on it when coming back from the mountains. Fellow forum member Popsvan lives closer to it and he might also be keeping track of it. I believe he mentioned it has a Sube swap and it looks like it's being worked on.

Heading for HoDepot I spotted this one at a nearby eatery. Swung by after my stop and it was gone, so good thing I got this shot from the hip.

Could well be. I didn't get a chance to make a positive ID but it was sitting about three miles away from the antique shop where I first saw it in '23 when I posted pix of it then.
The mismatched paint on the driver's side, the window rust and dealer logo (Lee in Springfield VA) are pretty distinctive, and the asking price is waaay too high. And I see that the seller joined Samba just last month and posted his ad the very next day.

Spotted this Syncro for sale in a small used car lot in Ayer, MA. Was quite surprised to see it there, for sure. I wonder how vehicles like this end up in these places. I don't remember seeing it for sale here or on FB or CL, not that it means anything. My son went in and asked what they wanted for it. 20K. Rough body - no clue on the rest. Has a LIMBO sticker on it, so wondering if VanagonJR or other locals might recognize it.

I do not recognize it from LiMBO events.
Yeah surprised how it winds up on used car lot unless something like someone passed along and they just wanted this and any other cars removed.
Ain't going to move at that 20K price, especially when there is likely no history on it at all. I'd say 10K max if I were interested - which I am, but life is too busy and too short at this point.
