I have a Mini-T manual and it appears that the chassis shortening procedure is different than the standard Manx-style chassis chop. Can anyone confirm that? The reason I'm asking, is I'm considering a different body for my project.

(1) What does your Mini-T manual show as being its wheelbase?

(2) What does your buggy (it's not a Mini-T) wheelbase actually measure?

Note that the Manx (and many clones) use 80" wheelbase (front axle to rear axle).

WB is 79-3/4". I know it's not a Berry Mini-T...not sure of the manufacturer. Built my first DB in 1965 and several Kellisons in the early 70's.

That shows how the Mini-T style shortening is different. You can see the pedal assembly and the shifter have been moved back in the tunnel. With a Manx style body those are left in their original location.

I used a Manx style frame to mount a Mini-T body by using an aftermarket pedal assembly and a deeply angled shifter handle. Putting a Manx style body on a Mini-T style chassis I think would require a good bit of welding.
