Anyone run into this before? Right turn signal hyperflashes, left is normal. All bulbs (turn signals, headlights, tail lights, brake lights, fogs) are incandescent and light up normally. Do right and left share a relay, or have separate relays?

The rate at which a bulb flashes is directly proportional to the amount of electric resistance there is.

What you describe makes me think you have a corroded wire, or connection somewhere.

I’d check all the bulb sockets for starters, and it never hurts to replace all the bulbs; they’re cheap and easy, and then you’ve reset the clock on their lifetime.

Most likely you don't have the bulb properly/fully seated. There are 2 notch/tab protrusions on the bulb base - at different depths - examine and make sure they are fully seated in the receptacle. I had the fast blink happen when I switched to clear lenses with amber bulbs. Solved the problem when I removed and re-seated the bulb.

i bent the tabs in the right front socket so they’d make stronger contact with the bulb, and that seems to have fixed it. weird that it was still lighting up normally the whole time, other than the fast flashing.
