65 and down type3 rear will bolt right up. avis adjusters for the beam.
16s are only 3 1/2" wide, they will need to be widened. toss them up into the loft and get some 15s or some raders

Lower it, then you can look like all the other buses in the UK!!!
Seriously, i think cut and turn is the only way for the front but what about dropped spindles??, not sure about the back.

-- Wink ? asked, ? answered courtesy of BDmafia Cool

The ideal way of lowering a barndoor in the rear is dropping a 1968 Swing
Axle Transmission, though you will need to replace the nose cone off of an
earlier bus, one with out the back up light connector or that bracket
thingie? Then you will need to make an adaptor to fit into the area where
the tranny mounts on to the shifting rod. My buddy can make you one or I am
sure someone sells them out there? It's not a difficult task! Now, when you
do the front end......... Best thing to do is use spindles off of a 64 bus,
convert them into drop spindles (about 2 to 3 inches), add adjusters and
narrow the beam as well, about 2 inches on each side! And there you have a
SLAMMED Barndoor.

Not sure where you are located? But my partner in crime is well known for
lowering Barndoors and early buses. He will lowere just about anything and
do it the right way. I hope this helps you out lowering your Barndoor. Keep
me posted.

Regards,
The Mob

Paul, that floor is actually placed OVER the original flooring. if you look underneath the bus the original cargo floor looks pretty good.. wierd. I think the PO just hauled alot of heavy duty stuff, also the frame is all reinforced from front to back... wierd.

Are you talking about Bobby Hollywood as in Bobby B The Hit Man???
The Vichingo is off to Tokyo, Japan to make that hit for the BDM!!!!!!

Linda, do you know when the Vichingo gets back to Roma??? I know this fine Hussie who is going out there in a week. Maybe the Vichingo can turn into Rocco Segfredi??? You know what I mean, Right?

Bobby Hollywood would give you far more trouble than Satana, don't give him a reason...

Saluzzo- The Vichingo left this AM for the "Tour Di Figa Giapponese". He will be Rocco's stunt double for all of his "plunger" and "helicoptero" scenes. You know what I mean, right?
