I found a 1966 bug, with sunroof, all in original condition, no rust anywhere. Paint is near perfect. Interior is near perfect. 57K on rebuilt original motor with good compression. Runs great. only 2 owners. All papers. Cracked windshield. No other problems. Appears to have been pampered its whole life. Ready to drive away and only needs brake adjustment. Owner is asking $3250. Sound fair? I sure think so. Any Opinions?

| Uh, YEAH!!!! It is worth more than that! If it was close to me I would buy it in a second! Factory sunroof 66 in pristine shape, it wouldn't take me long to make up my mind. Like I said, If it was close to me..... |

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I got scooped! Some broad from Seattle came up and called right before I did and the seller waited for her to call back even tho' I was begging at his door. "Well, I'd feel really bad, since she called first, if I just sold it without giving her a chance...." said the owner. Well I feel pretty $%##^&!!! BAD right now!! I know I could of bought that car and turned around and sold it for 2K more.
Sigh. Well, I guess I gotta keep looking. Yeah, I saw the '65 at Oldbug.com and talked to Randy about it. Not original paint color and has some rust. Also needs new engine. I'll keep looking.
Wish me luck. |
