I had posted this a few weeks back but for some reason the post was deleted.
Here are some updated pictures after I cleaned it up a little and got it running.
I plan on putting a narrowed beam in and putting my polished empi 5 spokes on. Of course the ugly tailights will be replaced with the correct 66 ones.

I dont know why it would have been deleted. I remember the thread. Maybe it got pushed a couple pages. Anyways, like I said on your last post, I think I remember that car but the one I remember was yellow on chromies, same year, same chop. Is there any traces of yellow paint on it? _________________ GFK

Yeah Skim I think it might have been repainted several different colors over the years. It looks like OG red under the dash, however there are in fact traces of yellow under the rear seat area near the shift linkage.
That would be cool if someone found old pics of it from back in the day. |

Not sure if its the same one but you never know. My window openings are actually still there, however there is no glass in there and the mechanisms are gone. |

Thanks bro. Yeah we need to cruise for sure. I just got back from my brother Josh's house. We got the motor in his bug running. It looks like we are finally getting off our butt's and getting our rides back on the road.
Now I need to move on and get Michelle's 61 back on the road. |

Oh you don't want to see that. Its a little bit of a nightmare right now since the previous owner didn't ever put the back window in and the rear wood bows need to be set in place and adjusted.
I'll probably snap a few just so you guys can have a good laugh. |

LOL wait your turn in line buster. Kidding it shouldn't take us long to get your ride back on the road as well. I will have a few free days coming up when Michelle and the kids are at Disneyland during the week. We should be able to knock a lot out during that time. |
