Hi all,

Are the steering wheels for the bays all the same? I have a 77 Westy and have a chance to get a 73 wheel.

Thanks!

Shaft/spline size may be different, I would check it out first if possible.....

I think the 73-79 shaft/spline s the same, but it may be the 74-79 instead. If you have a 77 then you should try to find a wheel from a 78-79 which is a padded rubber wheel that is much nicer than the old hard plastic wheel. I've seen them on Ebay for as much as $80, but the last few have sold for around $30-$40. I have one on my 76 Westy and it's a great improvement. Take care.

I just aquired a 78 van for the front end-I don't need the wheel, looks to be in pretty good shape, want it?? I can also pull anything out of this van anyone wants and ship, I already got my money's worth from the deal so I will pass on the goods for shipping and handling if anyone's interested, not much left of the interior. but mechanically it is a sound body (no engine) but it has a wirking automatic transmission if anyone is sadistic enough to want it,, he he....

Thanks, Scott. I emailed you. Let me know how much to ship to Long Island (West Babylon) NY.
