Im a Deputy in Missouri. I know he is not in my jurisdiction but anything i can do to help i will. I can make some calls and get the legal ball rollin. Just let me know.

I had a friend in the San Antonio PD knock on his door. He never answered, but the next day he sent my stuff.  I also put the IRS on his back just because I could.

Well guys, I didn't make the information connection in time. He goes by another ID and he just took my dumb ass for $400 on a roof rack deal.
Can't do too much about it other than wait for the next swap meet here in the area. He's made a lot of local enemies that are anxious to talk to him like I am.
I did have one conversation with him, after my deal with him, and he said that y'all are givin' him a bad rap, and that he's never done anything wrong to any of you. You're all happy customers, right?

This POS (Rodolfo Lagunas from [email protected]) scammed me too...He responded to a 'Wanted' ad I posted here...very cordial. He even sent me photos of 'his' item that I was seeking. Usually scammers start to get nervous when a buyer starts asking about specifics, requesting photos etc...it's so much easier to prey on those who are just glad to be contacted about finally getting a chance to buy that hard to find item...
After three weeks and no item, I had to hear about how his computer was down and he didn't even know if he'd been paid yet...puleeeez, this is 2011 and he's selling product on the internet and only has one point of contact with the WWW!
Once, the tone of my emails started to change...no more response from him...nada, zip, zilch...he vanishes into thin air with my cash.
Anyhow, I paid him via PayPal...thankfully...so I will get my money back...and hopefully the other 'organizations' he's been reported to will catch up to him and put a stop to his scamming...I hate a thief.
Be careful buying on the internet...do your homework and try to create a paper trail even if it costs you a few extra bucks...anyone legit should have a bunch of good feedback...BEWARE OF PEOPLE RESPONDING TO WANTED ADS AND LACKING A GOOD REPUTATION!

So I have an update regarding my dealings with Rodolfo Lagunas...I sent him a nasty-gram and filed a claim with PayPal in an effort to be refunded or have my item sent to me. Today, he responded back to me and issued me a full refund. Not sure why he handled this last ditch effort in an almost businesslike manner? Seems like it would have been easier to just drop my item in the mail...that is, if he actually had it...I feel the only thing that saved me on this was paying him via PayPal...keep your guard up people...
