Typical. Instead of answering the question, this shark wants to buy them. Amazing. How about just sending the guy an email or PM to be a wee bit stealth and not so damn blatant?

It seems anytime anybody asks about an item, people just want to get it from the person. If the person wanted to sell it, they would state that and post a for sale in the classified section.

I wish I could answer the question, myself, for the person, but I just don't know. Neither does that person. That is why the query was posted instead of a for sale ad.

Yes, I am in a pissy mood!

r39o, i think maybe you haven't noticed how many people are always asking "what is this and what's it worth?"

i don't think it's unrealistic to think that maybe henry might well be looking to sell them and whether he get's an email, a PM or ever comes back here to read that 59 ragtop could be into them ain't got nuthin' to do with you. or me. Wink

The person ONLY wants information about the wheels. Didn't ask what are they worth.

Sure lots of peeps are asking what is this or that worth. Usually they want to sell and other times they are trying to buy from some one. Sure.

BUT, without answering the question of what they are or whatever, to simply say I will buy them just don't seem right. PM the person or email them.

Be discrete. Geez....

Well it looks like once again instead of answering the question I went off and offended someone who was having a bad day to begin with. r39o you are correct I should have answered the question pior to asking if they were for sale. . Most of the time people ask"what are these, what are they worth" in this case the "worth" part was never in the question. Thank you for pointing this out r39o. It just makes me happy to see people get mad over sh!t that don't concern them.Since henry answered the question I asked, I will go back under my rock and let you have a better day

does this mean you don't know what kind of wheel it is? or you are a bit miffed because you do know but can't make a smokin deal because the OP doesn't?

They look damn close to a Remotec

If that were the case you'd be looking at $1500 - $2000 a set.

Everybody and their brother was making "porsche" wheels back in the day.
Somewhere either in one of the spokes on the back or on the lip in the front there should be a name of some sort.

mr warehouse, when you look at them up close they are nothing like remotechs.... they don't have that feel of quality that remotechs have.
i have been over the set several times and apart from the markings on the rim, there is nothing.

i wish they were remotech's... beautiful when detailed as per casten? from DFL's car
