I am looking for a slight rake look for my 72' bug, does anyone know what size will fit well in the back with no rubbing and some smaller fat tires in the front?

Do you plan on lowering the front end to achieve the rake you want, or are you just relying on tire size?

probably both. I want to see what type of look I get from just the tires and then go from there.

Know a guy who has 195/50 front and 195/60 on back with Fuchs. Looks pretty good.

Not much of a rake, but could adjust the rear differently than this.

How much would those tires run in whitewalls?

ihad an orignal, never had the engine out, 58 bug that needed a rake, but i didn't want o hurt the beam. so, i put some 155R15s on the front and 205/75/15s on the rear. gave it some rack, and nothing that was original on the car was altered. it put my crashbox tranny's rpms nice and low for freeway driving too!
