My dad ran smoothies on our GTO all through the '80's. Here's is an old pic of it.
Kind of hard to see the rims. There is a brand new set on it now. Never been on the road. Been on there for about 10 years now. I'm leaving them on there once I get it done and back on the road. Smoothies kick a$$.

| Does anyone have any pics with these rims on a bug? I was thinking about doing the same thing myself. They just give it a really clean look. |

Awesome! My dad had a 1969 GTO he bought new, similar to yours, except he kept the wheels stock. He traded it in on new 1974 Ford LTD the month before I got my Driver's License. I cant imagine WHY? LOL |

Just about the exact same thing happened to my dad. His parents had a '66 GTO, he got his license, drove it once. The very next day he came home from school to see that they traded in on a Dodge Monaco! _________________ Old rides...

It's not a bug, but the only one I could find on their sight sporting the wheels.
