I have a 70 pan under a 62 body. I have AC industries wide 5 disc brakes front and rear that are supposed to have no added offset. I want to use Chrome Mangle Wheels 5 1/2 inches wide. On these I want to put 195/65/15 tires. The car is to be lowered about 1 1/2 inches all around. Does anybody think this will work without rubbing?

what's the offset of the wheels? If it's a stock offset you should clear with only 1.5" lower.

You should use the 4.5 inch chromies instead. Your tires will fit fine on them.
