I need a aircooled engine for my 82 westfalia my block is toast as it has a bbg hole in it.
Whos sell the beter rebuilt engines or good used?
I am on the east coast.

I've got Boston Bob built 2.0L in my '81 Westy with 40k trouble free miles on it. It's good power and will easily cruise at 75 mph. It does slow down on long hills but that's the nature of the beast with stock air-cooled engines. I'm pretty sure Bob uses a non-stock cam with more exhaust duration on the 2.0L. Mine has a Porsche 914 cam for a little more exhaust breathing.
Bob builds good motors and stands behind his work. He won't sell a cheap used motor to you.
I would stay away from GEX motors! I've heard nothing but bad things about them. |
