put a damn price on it!
a friend of mine wasted time to go see it made an offer and of course the guy has a price in mind and turned it down.
put a price on it or put it on ebay.
IMO without a price its not for sale and shouldnt be allowed in the classifieds.
make a tirekickers wanted section for dipshits like this. |

I e-mailed him and asked if it was 35000 USD or 35000 pesos. If it was 35k pesos I would consider buying it. _________________ '56 Oval 36hp

Anybody who pays that much for an unrestored oval is smoking crack. It's not a sunroof and doesn't even have semaphores. Is it me or does there seem to be a lot more people "flipping" VWs recently? _________________ "...Porsche's reaction when someone cut open his knuckle working on the car. Seller started them at $1k EACH. Then dropped to $750 EACH. Someone must have told him he's on crack so I guess he dropped them again. Still has a a long way to go IMO. _________________ '54 Sunroof

My brother just bought a '56 and was quoted $500 for a rear seat. I'm a t3 guy and I thought parts were expensive for them. Is that the going rate for a rear seat? _________________ '68 Lotus White T34 automatic sunroof

I can't say I know what rear seats are bringing, but if its 500, let me know, I think I'll cruise without mine!! _________________ "If you don't do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do." -Warren Miller |

$100-$200 should buy '56 back seats all day. '55 and down seems to be in the $400-$500 range. _________________ '54 Sunroof

Hey Hydra,
Sounds like a great deal. Maybe you and I can compare notes. I just picked up this morning a 57 Oval with orginal ragtop. Top and slider are there, original fenders, 57 lights front and rear, doors, w-decklid, floorpan, steering wheel, dash is good, (even has an optional gauge in it for fuel, oil, ?, not sure if came from VW). And a couple other goodies. Body is pretty solid, heater channels, etc. Does need battery area repair. It's got a 40 horse in it and the front hood is different. But everything else is stock. I picked it up for $100! Couldn't pass it up! Especially since I just sold my 63 ragtop a couple weeks ago and miss it already. Anyhow just wanted to say Hi, and good luck w/ your project. |

Yup thats my ad. Its for a friend. However When I sold my clip for 2g's 3 years ago I had guys emailing after I had posted it as sold, offering 3g's Sunroof real or clipped will ad value to the car... Some one will step up.... If you were looking at two exact cars. One hardtop one with a clip. Which will bring more money? _________________ ITMC-El Presidente
