It indeed exact 1158 wide to 1138 deep

As far as jagged edges go I talked to a guy that makes MDF kitchen cabinets here and he said if I use very fine metal cutting blade in my jig saw and cut it a bit oversize I can sand the edges down quite smoothly. |
That's the idea - then apply the vinyl and cut oit the excess with a sharp cutter along the edges - it will be smooth !
Anyone else ?

Ok,
Some members should have a template by now
I am going to repro the decals in vinyl for sure - only the decals !
I might have a solution in the form of using a different and lighter material !
I still think that it wil be prone to damage due to the size so I am opting to have it sliced in two 5cm above the engine lid opening
Should make it a more easier to handle package !
What do you think ?

Yes they all say that. |
Hmm, my '72 never had the text I was surprised the first time I saw a car with the text. I thought it was an early only thing? _________________ Toby http://www.aircoolednut.com/

My 73 Fastback has the text. Was just in there.
My 73 does not have the clip to hold the hatch open though. You do have to take it clear out. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

You know it. I'm assuming I'll have to "cut/ fit" for the T34?
T34 owners step up please !
BerT3 |
This is great! I am definitely in for a T34 one or, if need be, I will deal with fitting it to my Ghia |

what would you just hook me up with the template for?
on Paper is ok
i work for a sign shop and am closely associated with Harbor Freight
was there day before yesterday talking about the same exact thing.
Also Looking for a Pattern for a Front door Interior Panel
mine is a 67 fastback but a bigger one would be ok then i could just cut it down
Any plans for the rest of the panels

Bert hi, I could e interested in one of these as well, how much are we talking, ready to go,not worried about the text, or even it being a perfect one, an ex prototype or slightly marked/damaged one would probably be OK, Cheers Andy. |

Hello All,
I just made 5 new ones on order which were pré-paid
I'll post photos of the finished ones on Sunday !
I even made some T34 ones !
Problem is the retail price though - quite expensive...

That is the problem w/ repoping.
I've looked into repoping the front trunk cardboard, the rubber on the back of the seat back, floor mats and some other non-T3 stuff.
In every case, the mfg costs make the finished product too expensive for the average Joe/Jane. Would you REALLY pay $600 for the rubber on the back seat, or $400 for floor mats? _________________ Everything known to man has been written.

I know it's an ancient thread, but any chance of sharing the file for the pattern? I'm looking to cut my own. I can print it out and transfer it.
Thanks!
