In a parts bus I bought recently there was a 16 inch bus rim. It has kdf stamped in it and I think a 4 (54?). It also has a beauty ring attahced. Is this thing worth anything?? I'm guessing it belongs on a barndoor deluxe??????

To confirm it's Bus, is it 16"x3.50"?

I think you mean KPZ, which is Kronprinz (sp?), one of the rim manufacturers, along with Lemmerz.

I'm interested in the rim...

A Bus 16" wheel should have 16x3.50 stamped into it somewhere. Or Maybe "3.50Dx16"

It should also be a "smoothie".

Just out of interest, was it a "smoothie" as seen above or was it slotted?

Assuming it has hubcap clips,
Smoothie = Bug
Slotted = Bus

You are killing me smalls. Just be happy with what you get out of selling the panel. I don't think there are any hidden treasures. No kdf tail lights or kdf 16" wheels.

by the way - this rim was laying inside a 64 deluxe parts bus - not the panel.
