Okay I was just wondering what is the easiest way to lower the front end on my beetle, is there a way to do this w/o the dropped spindles or adjustable beams or are those the only ways to do this job. I am looking to lower it abt. 4 inches.Any info. greatly appreciated.

The only way to do that is what is basically offered...Beams, and spindles...unless you do some crazy custom stuff...But I'm guess your looking for something easy. The only thing is. 4 Inches is alot...and Spindles only drop it 2.5 Inches....a lowered front beam will get you 4 inches, but you loose a lot of the ride...if I were You, wanting to retain the ride comfort I assume, do both, Spindles, then get the lowered beam, and lower it just a little more, inch and a half...that'll at least help you maintain some of your ride
Peace

There are ways to lower the front end on a bug by "modifying" the torsion bars and removing the snubbers, but I wont go into further detail because I feel it makes the car very unsafe and does more damage in the long run than good.

Do it the right way! Adj beam and/or drop spindles

Do yourself a favor and get some dropspindles and build yourself a narrowed and adjustable beam. Do it right, and you will like the results much more. 4 inches is alot to lower so a narrowed beam will give you the tire clearance you need.

ok, i have a 64 bug, i have the adjustable front beam installed, where can i find a set of dropped spindles for a good price?
also what size shocks will work for this type of ride?
also, where the snubbers are suppose to attach, the casting looks to be in the way when a bug is lowered?
should it be removed?
thanks
