So sad, and I am sure it's not even "collectible", don't know anything about it, it came with my '63 Beetle. Only really thought about collecting stuff of some sort in the past few weeks when I got my car and got a 50's Coke cooler with it. Anyways, I have this empi shifter, that's it.

Thanks for the compliment, compared to your car it looks wore out, but I love it! That shifter of mine, pretty safe to assume it's something newer? How would one go about finding out?

Ya its newer its a repop copy of an hurst shifter which is very collectable today. The differencen is where yours says empi hurst says hurst and of course its alot better made. Yours has been in production since the early 80s to maybe even now! really not worth anything unless you like it. Your car looks awsome bro leave it alone I would look for some oldspeed stuff and dress her up or some cool period correct accessories. Wink

Theres not much you can find cheap and make any real money on anymore. Nos lock sets in good condition anywhere from 35 to 60 I would say. But their not gonna sell quick to many out there. Hey you got any pics of this 63?
