Therm Rod. Need Help from you Guys.

1600 single port. Does it look like my thermostat rod is bent?? Just doesn't want to line up with the hole in the cylinder. Maybe something else is wrong. Just to double check, is it hole #1 or hole #2. The shield on the bottom side is only open in hole #2. Thanks, Rusty
