I have a buddy that has a full set of 2.0 liter Fuchs. Will these match my lug pattern on my 1980 aircooled Vanagon? They are both a 4 bolt pattern but he lives out of town and it is currently impractical to drive there just to see if they fit. Anybody?

Very Happy Your 80 should have 5 lug pattern. Not withstanding, you COULD use adaptors.....

Wow, my bad. And after doing all that bearing work I must have taken that back wheel off 10 times. I just turned 38. Perhaps it's the stress. When you say adapters, would they replace the existing wheel hub? And I guess that would mean new drums and rotors. Sounds expensive. Maybe I just answered my own question. Embarassed

No. Adapters are machined pieces of metal probably like 1" thick. They would have the 5 bolt pattern on one side, and the 4 bolt pattern on the other. So, they'd mount to your drums/discs, then allow you to bolt the porsche rims to them.
