i am replacing the coil on my 85 weekender...
seems i have wires miked up .

there are three wires

two black ones and one black and white.

wich one is positive wich one is neg

looked in my bentley didnt see a diagram..

My 84's got a thicker Green wire to the + terminal and and a Black and Black w/ white stripe to the -.

the green wire goes on the two prong terminal on mine...
then i have two black ones and a b/w

i have a 1985 weekender digijet
i do NOT have two green wires going into the top one...only one green wire...
ugh.

and then
down below ..two black ones and one black and white

this is mine..hmm only one green wire...the other side of the green plug wire is empty also...

Ditto - thick green wire is in a two-prong connector by itself.

Bentley 97.61 shows green going to post 1 on the coil. The other green is to the tach. If you don't have a tach, you don't have the other green.

Black and black and white's go to post 15.

The coil is labeled with the numbers.

i hooked up my aftermarket tach to that post. It works great. I have a 84 westy with no tach and i don't trust my ears for shifting.
