Took me awhile to find this thread because I'v been away so long I'm Samba challenged... But reading the 9 pages of this thread going from tears to laughs remembering fun times in chat, and those photoshop pics are as funny now as they were then! You touched so many lives brother! And it was my pleasure to be able to get to meet you over the years, glad we got to hang out last Jan too Wink . (I think we are the only 2 that are short enough to sleep on Lou's couches!) Been praying so much ALL this week for you!!! You made a dent in the lives of so many of us... rest now brother. Its so hard for us to see you go, as you can see. And man... you put up the best fight! This really really sucks... but I will continue to pray for comfort and peace brother.

I knew Brad from talking to him in chat for the last four years. When I needed some help with a cad program, Brad was there to help. When I needed help using the Samba's features, Brad was there. I remember when he was in chat while at work, he would have a very small window open so as not to get in trouble.

If a man's worth is measured by the love shone to him by others, Brad is a king. I had tears filling my eyes as I read this thread. The outpouring of love is awesome. Brad is loved....

I prayed that Brad be at peace with himself during this time. I wish I could be there to tell Brad not to worry, He is a shoe-in to get into Heaven....

Ive been booted by brad like 3-5 times just for laughs, at the time i was pissed haha but i understand now why he did it. I know brad but i don't, couple months ago i was having a lot of beam trouble in my car and brad noticed. One day a bunch of people were telling me to have Brad make me a beam so Brad asked me "Benny would you like me to build you a beam?"
So he did and its in my car and it works great! Most people are saying i have the last one brad ever built. I will tell you this right now if i do have the last one he built, I am HONORED to have it.

Brad if you read this, I thank you for all the help you've given me and I wish you nothing but peace and happiness. I'm not a Religious man much but i pray for you daily.

if i sell the car.... I'm keeping the beam.

Brad helped me install my current beam...he also allowed me to drop my roof rack off that I damaged and he welded it back for me. He took the time while I took my family on a small vacation to CA and let me pick it up when we were heading back home. The dude is priceless and the way he gives is the even more priceless if that is even possible!!

And if I ever sell my car...the roof rack stays home!!!

Brad,

One of the funnest VW nights I have had was when we were all at SkidMarks house pulling the engine on ThrownHammer's "new" baja. I really enjoyed getting to know you and wish you the very, very best. Keep Strong and yes...Fuck Cancer!

THIS IS BRAD'S BUDDY BRIAN REIMERS, WE HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER SINCE WE WERE ABOUT 8. I JUST SHOWED BRAD THIS POST AND HE HAD SMILES FROM EAR TO EAR. HE COULD ONLY READ A FEW THEN DOSE OFF, BUT HE WAS PRETTY STOKED ABOUT ALL YOUR POSTS. HE WANTED ME TO POST SOME WORDS ON HERE FOR ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO FOLLOW THIS UGLY DISEASE THAT REARED ITS HEAD AGAIN.

"TELL THEM ALL I AM OK. ITS REALLY AWESOME THAT THEY HAVE DONE THIS FOR ME AND I WILL TALK THEM ALL WHEN I GET BETTER, THANK YOU."

NOW I KNOW FOR MOST THIS IS TOUGH TO IMAGINE THAT THE LITTLE FIRECRACKER WAS ACTUALLY CIVIL WITH HIS WORDS, BUT HE DOES WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW THAT HE TRULY APPRECIATES YOUR SUPPORT.

AS FAR AS AN UPDATE...WE HAD A ROUGH NIGHT, HE IS IN LOTS OF PAIN AND ISNT TOO KEY ON LOTS OF PEOPLE VISITING RIGHT NOW BECAUSE HE JUST CANT SEEM TO GET COMFORTABLE IN THAT SHITTY BED. HE IS UNDER SOME PRETTY RAD PAIN MEDS RIGHT NOW TO KEEP HIM COMFORTABLE, BUT HIS BODY IS STILL FIGHTING VERY VERY HARD TO HOLD ON. WE HAD A FEW NURSES COME IN THIS MORNING AND HE TALKED TO THEM AND WE JUST NEED TO KEEP THE PAIN AWAY. I AM NOT GOING TO GO INTO TO MORE DETAIL, NO NEED. JUST REMEMBER OUR BUDDY FOR HOW AWESOME OF A MAN HE WAS AND ALL THE GREAT TIMES YOU ALL SHARED WITH HIM. I KNOW THAT WHETHER IT BE THROUGH TEXT, TYPE, WORDS, HUGS, BEERS, OR EVEN VW WRENCHING, BRADLEY TOUCHED A TON OF PEOPLE IN A SPEACIAL WAY. I TOLD HIM LAST NIGHT AS WE WERE DOSING OFF THAT I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE COMING TO SEE HIM AND CONTACTING ME TO ASK ABOUT HIM. I TOLD HIM THAT HOWEVER ABRASIVE HE COMES OFF, PEOPLE LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF HIM. HE REPLIED, "I AM STARTING TO SEE THAT AND I JUST WANT THEM ALL TO KNOW THAT I LOVE THEM BACK!"

ONE MORE SELFIOUS THOUGHT FROM ME. PLEASE CONTINUE TO POST PHOTOS IF YOU HAVE THEM OF BRADLEY. I AM BUILDING A FILE AND BOOK OF MEMORIES FOR HIS DAD AND FAMILY, MOST OF THE VW STUFF THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN. YOU ALL LEAD HIS PASSION AND DESIRE IN LIFE, PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE IT WITH US THAT DIDNT GET TO SEE IT ALL.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT.
