> Which do you think looks better--Non camper?

Depends, what color is your van?

imho a red van with red top and black bumpers, as pictured in the first post, would look much better with black rims and black tires.

otoh, a blue van does well with silver rims, and white letters

I also think a Gold Van looks better with black rims and tires than with silver rims and white lettering.

For a Silver Van, I would use silver rims, and white lettering would match.

here is a red van with silver rims and a white top, black tires. In this case I think the white lettering would look better, because it would tie in to the white top, but I would still rather see black rims and black tires on a red van, because they would tie in to the black bumper color.

I can do that just driving down my road, especially after the grader comes and supposedly fixes the road every Spring and Fall..... Laughing Laughing They always leave huge rocks exposed and the road is dirt already. Where do you offroad in SC? I used to work every summer at the Kennolyn Camp up Soquel Rd. Used to drive my first Bay Window up there from L.A. for 5 years back in the late 70's-early 80's. Never went offroading on my days off, I just wanted to surf. Wink

It is orange, similar to this, although there is black painted along the bottom foot all the way around.

I am dechroming the few bits that are still on it. I am thinking of going with the South African alloys.

Probably will go with a bumper and tire carrier like this.

skeleton tube bumpers on a square van, yuck!

I much prefer the GoWesty steel bumper
http://gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=3833&category_id=&category_parent_id=

to each their own, you get tube bumpers and silver wheels

I get square bumpers and black wheels Smile, in fact, I would consider a trade for my rheins and tube bumpers if you want them.. I also have available the van cafe bent wire tire carrier, as I invested in a Gary Lee rear mount..

I dig the white letters facing out on BFG's and requested it at the tire shop when mounting these up.
