Good eye! right now I'm not too sure what I'm going to do with it Confused The cost of all the parts is up into $7k but man is this car ever straight! Smile what you see is basically all I got with it so I would need a parts car to finish it Shocked

That wire should hold for a few thousand miles anyway. Just go over the train tracks slow.

I wouldnt say you need a parts car. Just some patience and metal work. You can make all that stuff. And then grab whatever else you need from on here. Lots of guys willing to help with a 50. Smile
You could at least get the outer and structural metal fixed and then drive it. Work on the fresh air louvers when you find them.
Cant wait to see it done. Cool

Good luck with the restoration. My 50 has been 8 years in the making, hope to be done by this summer.

Well I found the panels in California so getting the body back together is no big deal the problem is:
I need a hood deck lid fenders dashpod and everything else$$$$$$
And yes that wire did hold the body straight going over the train tracks Very Happy oh it's on a 53-55 pan right now the 50 pan is getting some work done to it.
Oh did anyone see the $1400 ad for seats lol Shocked

Make it just a runner with any parts you get to get that beetle back to drive and enjoy. Then keep your eyes and wallet open to collect right parts and finish it after few years. Be ready to spend 15 to 25 k's for it, but don't never keep any receipts to remember that Wink
