Ive never seen a Mouse grey/Pearl white deluxe.
That color combo is hard enough to find even on a standard micro.
Who currently has one and can also post a pic? |

I don't have one but I did see a year or so ago Rich Cantu had a 23 DLX in the Gallery in that color combo. Search his name and you should find it. I have only seen one other real 23 window with that combo ( Lenny Copp restored a red/grey one to that color combo ) and one 15 window walk thru nice OG paint that the guy primed and repainted, tsk, tsk. Too bad sooo sad for that one! |

While we are on the subject. How come you don't see restored Mouse Grey Buses in general. At OCTO there is a guy that has a 21 window restored. I told him that it's nice to see a restored mouse grey deluxe. But that is the only "restored" one I've seen. There must have been more made than just a couple. What gives? If the M code says mouse grey then mouse grey it shall be! _________________ '62 Rag Top Bug

What brought this about was that a buddy of mine just picked up a Mouse/Pearl standard. Over the weekend a bunch of bus guys were remarking about how you just don't see too many with that color combo.
This made me wonder if there if there is any deluxes made in those colors because I don't remember ever seeing one. Looking into David Eccles book
it does show that there were indeed Deluxes made so I just wanted to here from the forumer's about them. |

A '64 Mouse Grey all OG 13 window was just scored out of Bozeman, Montana Saturday night. It has the perfect fade on the roof. I'll put a photo in the gallery. _________________ ---

The 21 window mouse grey that Chuck D restored belongs to a guy from Hermosa Beach unless Dana bought it from him. |

My first car (Back in 1983) was a mouse grey and white 13 window. But it was painted grey all over and LOADED with bondo. Its in my gallery photos. But this was after bodywork and it never made it past the primer spot stage. Just remeber, when looking at it thaqt it was the early 80`s so don`t give me grief about the pink wheels.

I had an original paint 1964 13 Window Deluxe Walkthru that I bought off the net years ago. It was a super straight and solid Bus but the jackass who owned it before me started, but never completed, a 3 inch chop of the roof. I bought it for $100, grabbed some parts I needed, and sold the shell to someone else and never heard anything more about it. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

and my good buddy, Alex "il Vichingo", back in Italy has a very nice early 1964 21 Window Deluxe that is Mouse Grey and White. He bought it from some nuns in a monastery outside of Rome years ago. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage
