I found a set of 15x7 5 lug Phone Dials on CL is how do you guys think these will fit the ad says 195/45 up front and 195/50 in the back....for $450...

he also has a set of 4 lug Rivieras off of a Ghia for $150....

any pics of type 3's running this setup?

7" wide is pretty wide to clear on a Type 3.

alright then...thanks Russ I guess I will scrap that idea...I thought I found a "No Brainer" im sure all the VW guys in socal today are at the Drags in Irwindale so I could of had a jump on them...

Just so you know there are 8 different types of phone dials so asking if some 15x7" fit is a pretty vague question. You at least need to know the offset or the ET is marked on the wheel

I would guess either 15x7 et 52 or most likely 15x6 et 36.
i have both, they look the same on the outside just 7's are deeper on the inside.

I currently have 16 x 7 phonedials with a offset of 50+ on my square with 205/55 on the rear and 205/45/16 on the front with a swing axles set up
everything clears just fine

I actually running a set of 16x7 and 16x8 phone dials on my 63 notchback, and have no issues, and its lowered too :wink:
