Hi everyone
I am almost there with wiring for the secon battery. two questoins. there are two 120V line coming in( or going out?) of the circut breaker(?)the black panel under the Z bed, i opened it up and I am not sure which one goes to the convertor and whoch one goes to the city line. one line is on the side and ther other is in the back of the panel. this is really wasting my time now.
the other question is that I got a neew fuse box for additional accesories from the second battery. and I know that the accesories are connected to this fuse line in parralel. but. this fuse does not have a place for the hot wire from the positive of the second battery. can you send me some pictures of how this works. I do not know how to post pictures. thanks and have a nice day |

What year?
Generally, the white wire from the outlet goes to the city side supply. _________________ All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood

Here's a diagram I made when I did the Xantrex power converter install in my 1978 Westy.

positive batter terminal to fuse panel.
You can get a cheap fuse panel at the auto parts stores. If you weren't able to try another auto parts store. I really like this one from bass pro shop.

Yes. 12g with a 30a fuse from battery to fuse panel is appropriate. |

| just to update all those who helped me. I finally figured out and renewedall the wiring on the convertor and. checked the convertor. the refrigerator worked fine( off the bus) and also there was 11.9 flow of the current from convertor towards the future aux battery. I also bought the fuse box holder the was recommended and it is exactly what i needed. set up accesories to back and front of the bus for light and cigarret lighert etc. have not yet installed the aux battery. so far not fire. selelcted all the fuses and wire gauges. appear to be all in order. i will keep you updated and when i learn how to upload pictures, I will do the sep by step for those who need visual help like me. thanks all. |
