Circulating in the marketplace, dealer asking $260k for it.

No backstory listed at all, maybe not even known...

Even if it was a beautiful stock restoration it’s not even worth half that!

Not even worth $50K. IMO.

They butchered that poor bus.

I just read through a bunch of this topic, and got a kick out of all the hatin' on the bus. In my opinion, the bus has not aged all that well, as I am still unimpressed with all the custom BS on it, while I do have more of an appreciation for the 70s/80s/90s customs that were much more over the top. Not that I would ever own one.....

One thing that struck me was seeing the posts of friends who are no longer with us.

Guys it has a removable face CD player. Did nobody see this? The safety alone is worth the asking price

That bus lost its “originality” when it was stolen and then had to be “re-tagged” with a state issued vehicle ID. Also, little known fact, all 5 lug bolts broke off on a rear wheel not long after it got foosed! Confused

Fred told me that he sold the 21 window after it was Foose for $100k. He stated that he couldn't stop grinning as he cashed the check because he bought the bus for $1200.

That is what I call a great return on an investment Laughing

That sounds like the happiest ending that could've been had.

This is the first time I'm hearing about this. I've watched a number of Chip's shows but never this. Honestly, I like it...a lot.

The website lists it now as SOLD, wonder what the sales price ended up.
