|
|
I have a 71 std. needing heater channels. Looking for the most accurate to originals as I want to salvage as much as possible from what I have and want a really good fit.
If I'm in the wrong place please direct me to the right one.

oeveedub and aircooled.com are two outlets who carry the best, as far as whole heater channels go. NOS German or OEM Mexico.

Then there are a couple of Denmark-made channels, which some people stated needs a little 'massaging' to fit while others have had good luck with.
If yours just requires patching -- then the metal repair sections are all pretty much identical.. meaning come from the same suppliers.
** Edit **
Note: For future reference of anyone doing a search.. Please disregard/ignore the second link to oeveedub. _________________ Be kind to all critters. America's "H8TERZ" can drink sludgy used Motor Oil!

NOS full channels are expensive! Thanks for the links and the time.
I will probably take your advice and buy sections that I need instead of the whole thing.
Keep as much of the original already on it as possible. _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=449169 |
