Late-50s/early-60s Singer Gazelle, NOT a Sunbeam Rapier. The grille on the Rapier was a little different, as was the dash. |

The one shown is Ned Curtis' Le Mans Replica (s/n 421 100 119) as it appeared at the inaugural Los Angeles Grand Prix, August 30, 1997.

Hint: from a country that figured prominently in the Beetle's early post war history.
Front view would give away the maker as its name is prominently displayed in the grille.
