The ECPRA season kick off at Kilkare dragway in Xenia, OH is just a few weeks away.
For this year's festivities, in addition to Larry's pre-race super sale at the shop and cookout at the track, we're doing the cruise-in again, but we're moving the destination to a new entertainment center / indoor amusement park, that is scheduled to open just a few days before the race. (check out http://www.scene75.com for details). We're also moving the starting point over to the Global Automation Service shop just down the street from Larry's.
And on the racing side:
Alan Fore's debuting his new car at this event.
The Lauffers (Paradise Motorsport) are coming over from the West coast to enjoy some more East Coast action.
Can Damon keep his winning streak going?
Roll call time!!!
Who's coming to town, and when are you coming? Racers, fans, cruise-in participants... we want to hear from you.

| I think I'll come up this year. It's been quite a few since I was last up there. |

An NHRA representative will be on site on Sunday to offer chassis certification and licensing runs for anyone who needs it. The more people we can get signed up, the cheaper the rates are, so we're hoping to get as many as possible.
Anyone interested, please call me at 937-938-0376 or Gene Collier at 937-581-3957.
Thanks,

FYI: Some rumors have been circulating that certain members of the West Coast drinking team are coming to Larry's in an effort to capitalize on my current health issues and take both the coveted "Solo Cup Trophy" and the "Golden Mason Jar" back to the left coast. Yes, it is true that I have been forced into early retirement due to health concerns (keep the jumper cables handy... I'm breaking out of the hospital for the race.), but I am only one member of a long line of pickled-liver-idiots ready to properly represent the RIGHT side of the country. The Dayton VW crowd is well renowned for our complete wanton disregard for all logic and reason and for our ability to stun the masses with our grain alcohol induced drunken midnight flash mobs. (No exageration... good luck with the youtube search.) Just ask anyone who's ever been to a Dub Dash if the Southwest Ohio VW scene knows how to party. And that's just us in the Dayton crew. The guys from Kentucky, West Virginia, and the Carolinas are connisseurs of the home brew arts, each ready to stand and defend our coast's honor. Anyone thinking they can come over here and "drink us under the table" is in for a real treat.
Bring it!

I have killed way too many brain cells in the past, so I will by-pass all that pre-race activities.
But, just looked at the weather and it shows 76 and sunny for Sunday. Been pick'en parts in the evening's to bring for the swap. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class
